View yearly options →How to Choose a Forex & Gold Signals Provider (2025): 7 Red Flags That Scream “Scam”
Your funded account can survive spreads, slippage, even Powell — but it will not survive blindly following the wrong Telegram channel.
This is the 2025 checklist: how to spot a real Forex / Gold / Indices / Crypto signals provider, how to detect instant scams, and why funded traders specifically can’t afford “impulsive VIP gamblers.”
1. First Question: Are They Even Giving You Risk?
If they never say “risk 0.5% on this setup,” they’re not managing capital — they’re just calling vibes.
Funded accounts die from oversizing, not from being slightly wrong.
If a signal channel doesn’t tell you how much to risk, they are not trading like a professional. Next.
“Gold BUY 4008
SL 3994 (risk ~0.5%)
TP1 4018 / TP2 4035 / runner”
Now you know:
– Entry
– Exit if wrong
– How much to risk
– Where to scale out
That’s survivable. That’s professional. That’s what you show to a prop firm risk manager without being embarrassed.
If they don’t teach you how to stay under daily drawdown, they don’t care if you blow the account — they just want screenshots when it wins.
2. Do They Use TP1 / TP2 / Runner or Just “TP 500 pips bro”?
“TP at 4100 🚀🚀🚀” is not a trading plan.
That’s a lottery ticket.
No scaling. No partial closes. No risk-off logic.
Funded traders need controlled exits to lock payouts, not hopium.
TP1 = Pay yourself now.
TP2 = Secure the day / week.
Runner = Only leftover size, risk-free (stop at breakeven).
That way if Gold or NAS100 reverses violently, you still withdrew money from the move.
If they never mention partials, they’re not scaling like pros. They’re gambling for screenshots.
3. Are They Calling Entries During Red News Spikes?
If a provider is screaming full-size trades 30 seconds before Powell, CPI, or NFP, they are openly trying to get you slipped and liquidated.
That’s not signals. That’s sabotage.
“We’re flat or tiny size into FOMC. Wait for break → retest → continuation after volatility calms. TP1 fast. No revenge trades.”
This is the difference between “I need you to gamble so I can post a win clip” vs “I need you to still have your funded account tomorrow.”
If they’re hyping signals IN the chaos candle, not AFTER structure forms, that’s a red flag.
4. Do They Ever Talk About Losing Trades?
Any channel bragging “100% accuracy” or “every TP smashed 🔥🔥🔥” is lying.
Period.
Real traders lose. Real strategies have controlled red days.
Fake providers fake MT4/MT5 screenshots.
“Stopped at -0.5%, done for today. We’re protecting daily drawdown.”
That message is worth more than 100 hype wins.
That’s a provider acting like risk management, not like a casino host.
Your prop firm / funded account doesn’t fire you for a small red day. They fire you for breaking risk rules. See the difference?
5. Are They Teaching You The Logic, or Just Handing Blind Calls?
“SELL US30 NOW.” Why? Based on what? Liquidity grab? Supply zone? News premium? Are we counter-trend or continuation?
If you don’t know why you’re in, you won’t know when to get out.
“US30 rejected 47,300 zone (yesterday’s high). Break and retest failed. Lower high forming. Short below 47,180 toward 46,900. Risk 0.5%. TP1 47,020 / TP2 46,900 / runner.”
That’s a plan. You can follow that. You can journal that. You can learn that.
If the provider never explains “why here,” they’re not helping you become independent. They’re just farming subscription screenshots.
6. Are They Pushing Martingale / “Double the Lot Size”?
If a trade is going against you and they tell you “add more lots to get a better average,” that’s Martingale.
Martingale is how funded accounts instantly die.
A legit professional reduces size after a loser. A clown tells you to go harder.
– Stop hit → trade is closed.
– Day is maybe -0.5% or -1%.
– You live to trade again tomorrow.
That’s how payouts happen. Survival.
You’re not here for “one legendary trade.” You’re here for repeat withdrawals.

7. Do They Have Any Real History, or Did They Appear Yesterday?
Scam pattern: launch channel, scream “VIP launch discount today only,” post fake MT4 screenshots, disappear, relaunch under a new name.
If you can’t find any trace of them 6+ months ago, run.
8. Quick Checklist Before You Trust Any Signal Provider
Do they tell you how much % to risk per setup (0.5% etc)?
If not, you’re on your own when things go wrong. That’s not a team, that’s bait.
Do they use TP1 / TP2 / Runner and explain how to protect profit?
Funded traders live off partials.
Do they warn you to lower size or sit out during FOMC / CPI / NFP?
Professionals talk safety more than hype.

Do they post losers or only “wins” with emojis?
No losses = guaranteed fake.
Have they been around for years, not weeks?
Time in market beats Instagram filters.

Are they explaining logic (break → retest → continuation), or are they just typing “BUY” and praying?
You’re building a skill, not renting hype.

If a provider fails this checklist, you should not trade their calls with real money — and definitely not with a funded account that has strict daily loss rules.
