Consistency is a behavior before it’s a result. This guide aligns your mindset with FXPremiere’s TP1 / TP2 / Runner structure, so you execute clean entries, take planned profits, and protect capital every session (GMT).
Summaries:
EN: Trade the plan, not feelings. Take TP1, move SL→BE, keep runner small, and stop for the day at ~1.5% drawdown.
Singlish: Follow plan lah, not feelings. TP1, BE, small runner. If ~1.5% down, call it a day.
Pillars of a Neutral Trader
- Process over outcome: Good trade ≠ green PnL; good trade = followed plan.
- One risk budget: ~0.5% per setup; ~1.5% daily max. Capital survives, edge compounds.
- Acceptance first: Only trade after value acceptance (above/below OR/VWAP).
- Mandatory TP1: Reduce risk early; move SL to BE; keep runner small.
Common Traps (and Fixes)
- FOMO: Missed? Skip. Next retest only. Your edge lives in retests.
- Revenge trades: Hit daily max? Stop. Journal, reset. Edge needs clarity.
- Over-size: Convert conviction to holds, not bigger lots. Size stays flat.
- Indicator chasing: Confluence is fine; the trigger is structure + acceptance.
Pre-Session Focus Protocol (GMT)
Execution Checklist (Before Entry)
- Is price accepted above/below OR/VWAP (body closes & holds)?
- Is there a clean retest to the broken level/VWAP band?
- Trigger = HL (long) or LH (short) at retest. No naked breakouts.
- Stop = beyond structure (not fixed pips). Position size = ~0.5% risk.
VWAP
Break→Retest
TP1/TP2/Runner
1.5% daily stop
Management Rules (During Trade)
- TP1 at first trouble area → move SL to breakeven.
- TP2 at measured move / next HTF level.
- Runner small; trail by session HL/LH or VWAP band.
- No adding unless fresh break→retest appears (same risk cap).

FAQ — Trading Psychology
How do I stop overtrading?
Define your A+ setup and only trade it after acceptance and retest. Cap to 2–3 attempts per session. Hard-stop the day at ~1.5% drawdown.
What if I feel fear before entry?
Rehearse the checklist out loud. If rules are met and risk is sized, press. If not, pass. Courage is executing rules, not forcing trades.
How do I trust TP1?
TP1 funds your defense. It reduces exposure and moves SL to BE. Long-term consistency > single trade PnL.
